Journey
A timeline of my learning, projects, and milestones.
My Journey
A look back at the projects, opportunities, and experiences that have shaped my growth as a developer, engineer, and student.
2026: Building for Real Users
- June: Joined FischerJordan as a Software Development Engineering Intern, contributing to backend systems and production engineering workflows.
- May: Launched UniPool, a ride-sharing platform built for the NIT Delhi community. The project was officially launched in the presence of the Director and Registrar and is actively used by students, faculty, and staff.
- March: Continued contributing to the Photography Club, documenting campus events and preserving moments across institute life.
- Ongoing: Exploring backend systems, distributed architectures, and machine learning infrastructure through projects and internships.
2025: Discovering AI Engineering
- August: Selected for Amazon ML Summer School 2025, studying machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI alongside students from across the country.
- July – September: Joined Soundverse AI as an Applied AI Intern, working on agentic AI systems, MCP integrations, and AI-powered music generation workflows.
- May: Built VocaAI, an AI receptionist capable of handling customer calls and common business inquiries through real-time voice interactions.
- Sparkathon 2025: Developed a Real-Time Bot Detection System designed to identify and block malicious purchases during high-demand sales events.
2024: Expanding Beyond Web Development
- Entered my second year at NIT Delhi and began exploring machine learning alongside web development.
- Started experimenting with computer vision, AI applications, and backend systems.
- Built projects that combined software engineering fundamentals with emerging AI technologies.
- Became increasingly involved in campus activities through the Photography Club.
2023: The Foundation
- Began my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Delhi.
- Learned the fundamentals of programming, web development, and modern JavaScript ecosystems.
- Built my first projects with React and Next.js.
- Joined the Photography Club and started documenting campus life through photography.
- Competed in powerlifting and achieved a personal best total of 365 kg.
Looking back, the biggest shift wasn't moving from web development to AI—it was moving from learning technologies to building products. Each project, internship, and experience has reinforced the same lesson: software becomes meaningful when it solves a real problem for real people.
